Hellooooo! Is anyone out there?

Is everyone having a great 2008 so far? Hoping for a safe summer for all. Keep cool. Let's share what our special plans are for the summer. Due to the current gas prices we'll stay home and take frequent dips in the pool, watch the birds and cook out on the grill - my favorite thing on the grill: kabobs.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. Thank a veteran.

And I'll second it...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! I, too, have discovered how short life is. My mom passed away from cancer 13 years ago, and my sister's son passed away from leukemia 6 years ago. I truly do feel lucky to have lived to almost 50 years old (June of '08), and I appreciate all that I have.
